Christen is the owner and operator of Bodyworks Massage and Wellness; as well as a licensed Master Massage Therapist. She graduated in 2006 with honors from the Texas Massage Institute in Dallas and in 2008 was certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner. She is currently training to obtain further certifications in Orthopedic Sports Massage and Integrative Nutrition. She has over 1,500 hours of education and 18 years of hands-on experience. From 2007-2015, Christen and her wife Kristina, owned, operated, and sold two massage therapy clinics and one chiropractic practice. The first half of Christen’s career, she worked exclusively with patients referred from chiropractic and medical offices.

Since 2018, Christen’s work with the University of Arkansas Sports Medicine department has continued to develop and flourish. Over the years she has worked with many of the different sports at the U of A. Presently, Christen focuses exclusively on Razorback Football. Her massage techniques, strength, endurance, and knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology have been proven over and over again to be an effective technique for athletes.

In 2021 Christen had the unbelievable opportunity to massage numerous players on the Baltimore Ravens professional football team. She spent much time flying between Arkansas and Maryland during that season and the season to follow. In 2022 one of Christen’s clients joined the Kansas City Chiefs and she began to travel there, as well as Maryland. These past few years of working with NFL athletes have been the catalyst for her and since then, Christen has become hyper-focused to master her craft and keep her at the very top of the sports massage industry. To this day she continues to travel for her professional and collegiate clients.

On a personal note, Christen has been married for 23 years to her wife Kristina. They live in Fayetteville with their son (who is in elementary school) and 6 poodles. Typically they spend most of their time at home hanging out together… Reading, gardening, cooking, playing video games, collecting bugs and other nature items, dancing, playing basketball, and overall just being a family!
