Phase I: What to Expect
Christen Spain • May 5, 2020

With so much still uncertain, thank you for your continued trust in our team and my leadership of this operation. Both of which are key to keeping everyone safe during the phases of reopening our business.
We have always done well in keeping a clean and sanitized facility. So clean sheets and blankets, plus sanitizing after each client is nothing new to us but… Due to the current state of affairs, our cleanliness has amped up sevenfold. We’ve extended the times in between clients in order to disinfect thoroughly.
What to expect – in the simplest of ways
1. No waiting inside for your appointment to begin. Please wait in your car or outside until your therapist comes to get you.
2. Limited staff. Only 6-8 people will be allowed in the building at one time. Front desk staff will be working from home.
3. Reduced business hours & operation changes … which means less availability for massage appointments.
4. No walk in’s allowed. You are required to schedule an appointment in advance.
5. A thorough clean and disinfect and a minimum 30 of minutes in between appointments to clear the air.
6. Your therapist will be wearing a mask.
7. You are required to wear a mask while in common areas of the building. You can remove the mask when you are face down during your massage.
8. You will be screened with a series of health questions upon the arrival to your appointment.
9. Your therapist will take your temperature upon arrival.
10. Based on numbers 8 & 9 your appointment could be cancelled.
Many other little changes will occur, because as a whole, our entire operation has changed so we can thrive in this new economy and keep everyone safe! I am so excited to get back to work and see my team and clients!

What is this and why does it matter? Absolutely it matters and in a nutshell, the Flow is what you are purchasing as a part of your overall massage service. You are also purchasing the skills of the massage therapist, which is just as important as the Flow. The following paragraphs layout what my expectations are for your experience at Bodyworks.

Covid-19 has affected everyone in our community, city, state, and country. In order to adjust to the new world we live in, I have had to make several changes. Some are for the health and safety of our team and clients, other changes to ensure that Bodyworks will continue to provide services for many years to come. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding!
